Chunhuan Group (Zhenjiang Chunhuan Sealing Group Co., Ltd.), established in 1985, is a leading manufacturer of fluoroplastic products, chemical semiconductor linings, and new energy sealing gaskets. The company primarily focuses on the research, development, and production of fluoroplastic series sealing products (for hydrogen energy and nuclear power applications) and chemical semiconductor linings. With subsidiaries in South Korea and Shanghai, the group has also established a joint venture with South Korea's Houcheng Group for semiconductor lining equipment. Main production: PTFE products, metal seals series, steel lining anti-corrosion series, engineering plastics series, rubber products series,it is the leading enterprise in the national fluoroplastics industry. The company supplies more than 300 varieties of PTFE composite modified materials, ranging from standard composite modified materials (bronze, glass fiber, carbon, graphite, etc.) to customized solutions to meet different production needs of customers. The company provides flexible quantity and fast delivery service. The engineers have 35 years working experience in the field of PTFE,serving customers in more than 30 countries.

Q1: Is this PTFE tube made of virgin material or does it contain fillers?
A1: This product is 100% virgin PTFE without any fillers or regrind, ensuring material purity, consistent tribological properties, and FDA compliance. For enhanced wear resistance or thermal conductivity, customized filled options are available, but their FDA suitability must be re-evaluated separately.
Q2: What exactly does FDA food contact compliance mean, and can you provide supporting documents?
A2: This material complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 for polytetrafluoroethylene resin, suitable for repeated contact with food in processing equipment, conveying pipes, and packing machinery sliding parts. Each batch can be supplied with an FDA declaration of compliance and raw material certificates.
Q3: How does the self-lubricating performance work? Can it run long-term under oil-free conditions?
A3: PTFE exhibits an extremely low coefficient of friction (around 0.04-0.10 under dry sliding) with no stick-slip effect, enabling stable operation without external lubrication over extended periods. It is particularly suitable for low-speed, heavy-load, or intermittent sliding bushings, greatly simplifying lubrication maintenance.
Q4: What is the continuous operating temperature range? What about short-term peaks?
A4: Continuous service temperature spans from -200°C to +260°C, with short-term peaks (e.g., thermal cleaning or steam sterilization) up to 280°C. Within this range, PTFE retains its chemical inertness and dimensional stability.
Q5: What dimensional tolerances can you achieve, and can you customize wall thickness and inner diameter?
A5: Our extrusion or molding processes provide precise control over ID, OD, and wall thickness, with standard tolerances typically to ISO 2768-m or tighter (e.g., ±0.05 mm). You can provide drawings or specific dimensions; we support full customization from 2 mm ID up to hundreds of millimeters.
Q6: How can I convert the tube into sliding bushings? Do you offer cutting or finishing services?
A6: We provide custom cutting services to convert tubes into specific-length sleeves, flanged ends, or grooved/chamfered bushing blanks per your 2D (PDF/CAD) or 3D (IGES/STEP) drawings. This delivers near-net shapes that minimize your secondary machining work.
