High performance engineering plastic pipes are made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material and filled with specific additives to enhance their performance according to customer requirements. This kind of pipe has excellent chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, low friction coefficient and good insulation performance, and is widely used in industrial, medical, electronic, automotive and other fields.

Chunhuan Group (Zhenjiang Chunhuan Sealing Group Co., Ltd.), established in 1985, is a leading manufacturer of fluoroplastic products, chemical semiconductor linings, and new energy sealing gaskets. The company primarily focuses on the research, development, and production of fluoroplastic series sealing products (for hydrogen energy and nuclear power applications) and chemical semiconductor linings. With subsidiaries in South Korea and Shanghai, the group has also established a joint venture with South Korea's Houcheng Group for semiconductor lining equipment. Main production: PTFE products, metal seals series, steel lining anti-corrosion series, engineering plastics series, rubber products series,it is the leading enterprise in the national fluoroplastics industry. The company supplies more than 300 varieties of PTFE composite modified materials, ranging from standard composite modified materials (bronze, glass fiber, carbon, graphite, etc.) to customized solutions to meet different production needs of customers. The company provides flexible quantity and fast delivery service. The engineers have 35 years working experience in the field of PTFE,serving customers in more than 30 countries.

Q1: Which fillers improve dimensional stability and reduce thermal expansion?
A1: Carbon fiber, glass fiber, and ceramic powder all significantly reduce the coefficient of thermal expansion and enhance creep resistance, ensuring tight clearance and reduced seizure risk under temperature fluctuations or long-term loading.
Q2: What chemicals can this tubing resist? Is it suitable for strong acids and alkalis?
A2: The PTFE matrix resists virtually all strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents. Most fillers (glass, graphite, MoS2) are also corrosion-resistant; bronze and carbon require caution in strong oxidizing acids. For chemical plant valve and pump bearings, we recommend the safest filler based on your specific media.
Q3: How is the tube processed into final bearing components? Do you offer drilling, turning, or oil groove cutting?
A3: We provide complete secondary services: cutting, O.D./I.D. turning, end facing, drilling, milling of oil grooves or spiral lubrication channels, and sealing groove machining - all per your drawings to ensure accuracy.
Q4: Is the tube easy to deform during installation? How to ensure proper fit with shaft or housing?
A4: Filled PTFE has significantly improved rigidity. Recommended press-fit interference is 0.02-0.05 mm. We can supply installation guidance, including housing chamfers, lead-in tapers, and press-force calculations to prevent assembly damage.
Q5: Does this bearing require external lubrication? How is its self-lubrication performance?
A5: PTFE inherently has a low friction coefficient (0.05-0.10). With graphite or MoS2 filler, self-lubrication is enhanced, allowing oil-free operation in most cases - ideal for maintenance-free or hard-to-lubricate applications. For higher loads/speeds, auxiliary grease may be applied in oil grooves.
Q6: Does the product comply with ROHS and REACH? Is it FDA-approved for food contact?
A6: All formulations are ROHS and REACH compliant, with MSDS supplied. However, filled PTFE is generally not food-grade and is not recommended for food or pharmaceutical contact. For FDA-compliant options, please refer to our pure PTFE or specially certified food-grade series (consult separately).
