Q1: What grade of PTFE raw material is used for this positioning/isolation block? Are any fillers added?
A1: We use high-purity virgin PTFE resin specifically selected for semiconductor applications, with no colorants or regrind. If conductive, anti-static, or enhanced wear resistance is required, we can customize the filler system with carbon fiber, graphite, bronze, etc., according to your process conditions.

Q2: What dimensional tolerances and surface finish can be achieved by CNC machining?
A2: Typical linear tolerances reach ±0.02mm, and critical mating surfaces or bore diameters can be held within ±0.01mm. Standard surface roughness is Ra 0.8~1.6μm; optional polishing can achieve Ra 0.4μm for smoother contact areas.

Q3: What is the operating temperature range? Can it withstand high temperature baking or cryogenic cooling?
A3: Continuous service temperature spans from -200°C to +260°C, with short-term exposure up to +280°C. This makes it suitable for extreme thermal cycling encountered in semiconductor heating belts, cryo-pumps, and similar process zones.

Q4: Do you accept custom non-standard sizes or complex shapes? What drawing formats are needed?
A4: Absolutely. We support made-to-order production using 2D drawings (PDF, DWG/DXF) and 3D models (IGES, STEP). Even intricate positioning blocks with mounting holes or multi-dimensional features can be precision-machined in a single setup.

Q5: Does the block require regular maintenance or lubrication? Will sliding surfaces wear out?
A5: PTFE is self-lubricating and needs no additional lubricant. Under dry friction conditions, it exhibits low wear and does not scratch mating metal surfaces. For extremely high-frequency sliding, we recommend wear-resistant filler formulations to extend service life.
