Q1: What colors are available for this colored PTFE extruded hose, and does the color help identify different media or temperature grades?
A1: We offer standard colors such as red, blue, yellow, green, black, and white, and can also customize special shades. Color coding not only facilitates quick differentiation of steam lines, corrosive gas lines, or different pressure loops, but also improves on-site safety by preventing misconnection.

Q2: Can this hose be used for long-term high-temperature steam delivery? What are the maximum continuous operating temperature and pressure?
A2: Yes. PTFE continuously withstands up to 260°C, with short-term exposure to 280°C. However, steam delivery often involves high pressure; we recommend working pressure not exceeding 1.0 MPa (10 bar), depending on wall thickness and diameter. For saturated steam, consider the temperature-pressure relationship - we can provide precise derating curves based on your conditions.

Q3: Which corrosive gases can this hose resist? Are there any gases it cannot handle?
A3: PTFE is inert to almost all industrial gases. It is not recommended for molten alkali metals or fluor gas (strong oxidizer) at high temperatures, as these attack PTFE. If you have specific gases, please provide details for compatibility assessment.

Q4: What advantages does the extrusion process offer over molded tubing in terms of flexibility and bend radius?
A4: Extrusion enables continuous long-length production with uniform wall thickness and a smooth inner surface, offering excellent flexibility and flex fatigue resistance. The minimum bend radius can be as low as 5-6 times the OD, allowing easy routing in tight spaces, especially for steam/gas lines that need to pass around equipment or through walls.

Q5: What does "Split Pipeline" mean in the product name? Is this hose suitable for branch or distribution lines?
A5: "Split Pipeline" means the hose is intended for diverting gas or steam from a main line to multiple branch lines, or for segmented connections. Due to its lightweight, flexible nature and field-cuttable design, it is ideal for building flexible distribution networks, e.g., feeding multiple stations from a single header.

Q6: Is this product RoHS- and REACH-compliant? Can it be used in food or pharmaceutical industries?
A6: This hose complies with RoHS and REACH, but the color pigments may affect FDA compliance. Therefore, it is primarily recommended for industrial steam and corrosive gas delivery, not for direct food or pharmaceutical contact. If food-grade is required, please consult us for certified pigment options.

Q7: Will the color fade or affect physical properties under long-term exposure to high temperature and UV light?
A7: Our color masterbatch has good heat and light resistance. Under normal industrial indoor conditions, colors remain stable for years without significant fading. For outdoor UV exposure, we recommend a UV-resistant formulation. Color does not affect PTFE's physical properties; even if fading occurs, sealing and corrosion resistance remain intact.

Q8: What is the expected service life of this hose in steam and corrosive gas applications, and how can it be extended?
A8: Under rated temperature and pressure, the expected service life is 5-10 years or more. To extend life, avoid over-temperature/over-pressure, prevent mechanical scratches, regularly check fitting tightness, and avoid high-pressure pulses while the hose is bent.
