Chemical properties
PVDF has a good chemical stability. It is not be corrupted by acid, alkali, strong oxidizing agent and halogen at room temperature; it will not be affected by ordinary organic solvents; it can only be swelling or partly dissolved by a handful of chemicals such as fuming sulfuric acid, alkali, ketones and ether, it can be dissolved into a colloidal solution by strong polar organic solvents such as dimethyl acetamide and Dimethyl Sulfoxide(DMSO). Moreover, its water absorption is only 0.03% in 80ºC; Its chlorine penetrability is the smallest among fluorine resins.
