DESCRIPTION
It belongs to a kind of metal composite gasket, also called corrugated movable pressure gasket, which is first pressed into concentric corrugated shape by metal sheet, which is provided by mechanical support by corrugation, and its resilience is determined by the form adopted, the thickness of metal, the spacing of corrugated and the height of corrugated. The soft sealing layer material is added according to the need to make the metal corrugated composite gasket have better compressive resilience, because the contact with other sealing surfaces is line contact of multiple concentric circles, so it has labyrinth sealing function. According to the different medium and working conditions, flexible graphite, PTFE, asbestos-free board or some other soft metal can be selected, which can be pasted on the two sides of the gasket, and the sealing property of the soft covering layer and the strength and elasticity of the metal can be used to achieve better sealing effect. In most cases, we recommend graphite as the sealing layer.
