1. Q: What is the maximum temperature resistance of FKM O-rings?
A: Standard FKM can be used continuously from -20°C to +200°C. Special formulations (e.g., peroxide-cured) can withstand intermittent exposure up to +250°C.

2. Q: Which chemicals are FKM seals resistant to?
A: FKM has excellent resistance to fuels, mineral oils, lubricants, aromatic hydrocarbons, strong acids (e.g., nitric and sulfuric acids), and many organic solvents. It is not recommended for ketones, low-molecular-weight esters, or amines.

3. Q: What hardness options are available for O-rings?
A: Common hardness levels are Shore A 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, and 90. Shore A 70 is the most universal choice, balancing sealing performance and ease of installation.

4. Q: How can I ensure the O-ring dimensions exactly match my groove?
A: Please provide the inner diameter (ID) and cross-section (CS), or simply specify the AS568 / JIS / GB standard number. We also support non-standard custom sizes based on your groove drawing.

5. Q: What is the compression set performance of FKM O-rings?
A: FKM offers excellent resistance to compression set. Under standard test conditions (200°C for 24h), the compression set is typically ≤20%, and special formulations can achieve below 10%.

6. Q: What is the shelf life of FKM O-rings?
A: When stored away from light, at room temperature (≤25°C), dry, and ozone-free environment, FKM O-rings can last over 10 years. Storage beyond 15 years is not recommended.

7. Q: What are the advantages of FKM over NBR (nitrile rubber)?
A: FKM is far superior to NBR in high-temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and aging resistance. It is ideal for hot oil circuits, strong acid environments, and severe conditions, though at a higher cost.

8. Q: Can you supply FKM O-rings in different colors for identification?
