Q1: What is the difference in performance between blue pigment filled PTFE sheet and pure white PTFE sheet?
A1: The blue pigment is typically added at less than 1%, mainly for color identification and production line distinction. It has minimal impact on PTFE's chemical inertness, temperature resistance, and electrical insulation. However, since pigment is a filler, this sheet is not FDA-compliant for food contact and is recommended for industrial mechanical equipment only.

Q2: Can this blue PTFE molded slab be customized to my equipment dimensions? What is the maximum size?
A2: Yes. Standard molded sheet: thickness 3-100 mm, width 150-2000 mm, length up to 2000 mm. We can customize non-standard sizes per your drawings, including extra width, length, or special thickness. Please provide specific dimensions for mold and sintering feasibility evaluation.

Q3: Is this sheet suitable for CNC machining? What mechanical parts can be made?
A3: Yes, highly suitable. The sintered molded slab offers excellent machinability for turning, milling, drilling, tapping, and slotting. Typical parts include wear pads, guide rails, insulating barriers, gaskets, gear blanks, and guide rings.

Q4: Can blue PTFE sheet be used in food or medical equipment?
A4: No. Due to the added pigment, this product does not meet FDA food-contact requirements and is not recommended for pharmaceutical or medical devices. It is designed for industrial mechanical equipment. For food-grade needs, please choose pure white unfilled PTFE sheet.

Q5: How about creep resistance and compressive strength of the blue molded sheet? Is it suitable for pressure sealing?
A5: The sintered molded sheet has high density and low porosity, offering better creep resistance and compressive strength than skived sheet. It maintains stable dimensions under sustained pressure, ideal for pressure gaskets, support blocks, and wear liners. For extremely high pressures, glass fiber or carbon fiber reinforcement can be added.

Q6: Can you provide thickness tolerance and flatness data for the blue sheet?
A6: Yes. Molded sheet thickness tolerance is typically ±0.1 mm to ±0.5 mm depending on thickness, with flatness controlled within 0.1 mm/100 mm. Each batch can be supplied with dimensional inspection reports; higher precision is available through subsequent grinding.

Q7: Is this sheet ROHS and REACH compliant? Can you provide MSDS?
A7: Yes. We can provide ROHS and REACH declarations of conformity, along with MSDS technical documentation. Please note that while the base material is compliant, the pigment-filled version is not FDA food-grade certified.

Q8: For bulk orders, how do you ensure color and performance consistency of the blue sheet?
A8: We use a controlled compounding process to ensure uniform pigment dispersion. Each batch is tested for color difference, density, tensile strength, and critical dimensions. Retained samples and lot traceability records guarantee stable supply for long-term reliable use in mechanical equipment.
