Its high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance are also outstanding, making it a true substitute that surpasses traditional asbestos products.
2. Q: My application involves both high temperatures and oily media. Can this gasket handle it?
A: Absolutely. The non-asbestos aramid fiber gasket is precisely designed for such complex conditions. Made from a composite of aramid fiber and oil-resistant materials like NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), it offers exceptional resistance to oil and corrosion, withstanding various media like gasoline, lubricants, and solvents. It also has good heat resistance, typically operating stably in environments ranging from 200°C to 350°C, meeting most industrial high-temperature requirements.

A: That's a very observant question. Compared to asbestos gaskets, the different fiber ratio in non-asbestos gaskets can make them feel slightly crisper. 7. Q: What is the pressure rating for this gasket? Can it be used in high-pressure environments?
A: Non-asbestos aramid fiber gaskets have good pressure resistance and typically withstand pressures of 6.5 MPa or even higher. High-quality products can have a working pressure of up to 100 bar. Their tensile strength and resistance to high pressure are sufficient for most industrial pipeline and equipment requirements. To be absolutely sure, please provide your specific pressure parameters, and we can verify they fall within the product's safe operating range.
8. Q: Are there any special tips for installing this type of gasket to ensure it doesn't leak?
A: Installation quality directly determines sealing effectiveness. First, thoroughly clean the flange faces, ensuring they are free of scratches and debris. Second, do not exceed the specified preload force, as this can crush the gasket and destroy its resilience.
