Glass Fiber: Increases compressive strength, rigidity and wear.Reduces creep and cold flow, Minimal effect on chemical and electrical properties
Carbon: Increases compressive strength, hardness, wear, and load properties. Good chemical resistance, Various types and amounts of carbon can be added to alter conductivity
Graphite: Reduces coefficient of friction, Reduces initial wear, Increases strength, Molybdenum
Disulfide: Increases hardness, stiffness, and wear,Minimal effect on chemical and electrical properties
Polybenzoate: Improve the creep resistance, dimensional stability, high temperature;
Bronze: Increases hardness and wear resistance, Increases dimensional stability and compressive strength,Not suitable for corrosive or electrical applications
Silicon Disulfide:  Improve wear resistance, dimensional stability and chemical resistance.

Q1: What are the main advantages of molded PTFE rigid tubes over extruded ones?
A1: Molding allows for larger wall thicknesses and outer diameters, with more uniform density and no internal voids. This results in higher mechanical strength, suitable for higher internal pressures and secondary precision machining.

Q2: What maximum outer diameter, wall thickness, and single piece length can you supply?
A2: Outer diameter up to 600 mm, wall thickness from a few millimeters to several centimeters, and typical length 200-1000 mm depending on diameter and wall thickness. Longer lengths can be discussed for segmented solutions.

Q3: What is the long-term continuous service temperature range for virgin PTFE rigid tubes?
A3: It operates continuously from -200°C to +260°C, with short-term peaks up to 280°C. Throughout this range, it retains excellent chemical inertness and electrical insulation.

Q4: Can this tube be used for high-pressure fluid transfer, and how is the maximum working pressure determined?
A4: It is suitable for low-to-medium pressure service (typically recommended ≤2 MPa static pressure). Actual rating depends on wall thickness, inner diameter, and joint design. We can calculate recommended thickness and provide burst pressure data upon request.

Q5: Are the inner and outer surfaces smooth, and do I need additional machining?
A5: The as-molded surfaces have a natural sintered finish with roughness about Ra 3.2-6.3 μm. For higher smoothness or precise dimensions, we offer secondary turning or grinding. We can also deliver finished parts per your drawings.

Q6: Can you provide FDA, ROHS, and REACH compliance documentation?
A6: Yes. Each batch is accompanied by FDA declaration for raw material, ROHS and REACH test reports, and MSDS technical sheets, facilitating use in food, pharmaceutical, and export-oriented equipment.

Q7: How do I connect this rigid tube to metal pipes or valves?
A7: Common methods include lap joint flanges, socket bonding, threaded connections (machined internal/external threads), or using PTFE gaskets. We can prefabricate flange faces or threads according to your interface drawings.

Q8: Can you drill holes, cut slots, or machine special openings on the tube?
A8: Absolutely. PTFE is highly machinable and supports turning, milling, drilling, and tapping. Provide 2D/3D drawings and we can complete all processing for ready-to-install parts.

Q9: Is virgin PTFE safe when contacting strong oxidizing media?
A9: Virgin PTFE resists almost all strong acids, bases, and organic solvents, but may react with molten alkali metals or strong fluorinating agents at high temperature/pressure. Please provide your specific media and temperature for a suitability assessment.
