Q1: How is the colored PTFE tube produced, and does the color affect chemical resistance?
A1: We add color masterbatch or pigments that are uniformly dispersed in the PTFE matrix. Pigments are inert fillers and do not significantly weaken PTFE's chemical inertness. The tube still resists most strong acids, bases, and organic solvents. For strong oxidizing acids, we recommend a compatibility test first.

Q2: What are the differences between extruded, molded, and pressed tubes, and how do I choose?
A2: Extruded tubes suit longer continuous lengths (500-4000 mm) at lower cost for standard fluid transfer. Molded tubes handle large diameters (up to 1323 mm OD) and thick walls with higher density and better creep resistance. Pressed tubes cover very small diameters (0.2-25 mm OD) in coils for precision small lines. Choose based on size, pressure, and production volume.

Q3: What are the size ranges? Can you customize non-standard dimensions?
A3: Extruded: OD 13-213 mm, ID 5.2-196 mm, length 500-4000 mm. Molded: OD 30-1323 mm, ID 10-1217 mm, length 100-300 mm. Pressed: OD 0.2-25 mm, ID 0.1-23 mm, in coils. All sizes can be customized, and we support machining per drawings.

Q4: What are the continuous operating temperature and maximum pressure ratings?
A4: Continuous service temperature is typically -200°C to +260°C. Static pressure resistance reaches up to 30 MPa; dynamic or pulsating pressure is recommended at ≤20 MPa. Actual ratings depend on tube type, wall thickness, and support method. We can perform strength verification for your specific conditions.

Q5: Is colored PTFE tube FDA-compliant for food and pharmaceutical fluid transfer?
A5: Standard colored tubes use pigments that are generally not food-grade, so they are not recommended for direct food or drug contact. If you need food-grade colored tubing, we can customize with FDA-approved color masterbatch, but specific colors and compliance certificates must be confirmed. Uncolored pure PTFE tube meets FDA requirements.

Q6: What are the coil length and minimum order quantity?
A6: Pressed tubes are supplied in coils with customizable lengths, typically 50-200 meters per coil, with flexible MOQ. Extruded and molded tubes can be supplied in fixed lengths or coils. Exact MOQ depends on diameter and color; please provide your requirements for a quotation.

Q7: Can you perform secondary machining per my 2D/3D drawings, such as cutting, drilling, or slotting?
A7: Yes. We accept PDF/CAD 2D drawings and IGES/STEP 3D models for cutting, end finishing, chamfering, drilling, slotting, and threading to meet assembly requirements with connectors, sensors, or flanges.
